A LITTLE HISTORY....
 Purchased by the Closson family in 1928. The Puffin III is a 27ft Launch built in Lake Geneva, NY by Fay & Bowen Boat Company.
After purchase, the Puffin III was shipped to Ashland, NH by rail then on to Squam Lake by truck. It has remained on Squam Lake with the Closson family serving five generations.
Built of solid mahogany, the Puffin III has a unique hull design that features a long fore deck and round bottom. The round bottom allows the Puffin to slice through rather than skim across the water giving it a very smooth comfortable ride.
During the winter of 1999, the Puffin III received a complete restoration by Owl Brook Boatworks of Sandwich, NH. Today she sports a beautiful mahogany finish, sparkling brass fittings and hand carved Puffin mounted on her bow.
In 2000, The Puffin III received national exposure on ABC's Good Morning America.
